Incubator Top Chef: Banana Bread Challenge
Watch a live bake-off while enjoying improvised sets from themed pop-up bands. Then taste each banana bread and vote for your favorite.
Emceed by Benjamin Burch, Incubator’s first Top Chef event, Banana Bread Challenge, will feature two local bakers going to head to head to see who can make the best banana bread.
After the audience tastes each bread, they’ll vote for their favorite and the first Incubator Top Chef will be crowned.
At the same time, on the other side of the room, two instrumental pop-up bands, Chef’s Kiss (jazz) and Whiskology (ambient experimental) , will score the evening.
Audience participation in the music is welcome. The mic will remain on for anyone who wants to add vocals and hand percussion will be strewn about.
